Preparation of R-M@CS-PAA NPs

To prepare R-M@CS-PAA NPs, 2 mL of R848 solution (2.5 mg/mL) and 5 mL of MnCl2 solution (10 mg/mL) were added dropwise into 10 mL of CS-PAA NP solution (10 mg/mL). Then, the suspension was centrifuged at 12,000 rpm for 30 min. Finally, the precipitate was collected and re-dispersed for later use.
