Excised outside-out patch-clamp configurations were made according to previous studies (24,25). In the outside-out patch-clamp, the pipette solution was identical to the whole-cell patch, and the perfusion solution was SBS. The recording protocol was also the same as the standard ramp-step protocol used in the whole-cell patch.
