L929 cells were cultured to full confluence on 75-cm2 flasks (Corning) in Dulbecco′s Modified Eagle Medium (HyClone, SH3024301) supplemented with 10% heat-inactivated fetal bovine serum (Sigma, F4135) and penicillin-streptomycin (Thermo Fisher Scientific, 15070063). Medium was aspirated, and cells were rinsed in mMG Medium and then cultured in 35 mL of mMG Medium. After 2 weeks, L929 conditioned medium was collected, filtered, and frozen at -80° C.
