A solution of 6-chloropurine derivative (2 mmol) in methanolic ammonia (60 ml) was stirred in an autoclave at 60 °C for 48 h. Solvent was evaporated and the residue was purified by flash chromatography on silica gel (CHCl3–MeOH).
