TGA curves of BSA/ALG nanoparticles, as well as raw materials, were obtained using a Mettler Toledo thermal analyzer (TGA-SDTA 851®, Switzerland). Samples (3 mg) were placed onto the balance, the temperature increased from 25 to 600 °C at 10 °C min−1 in a nitrogen atmosphere (nitrogen flow rate of 60 cm3 min−1) and the mass continuously recorded as a function of temperature.
