This scale is assessed by the interviewer, and is used tomeasure the level, distribution, and severity of positive symptoms of schizophrenia. It consists of 4 subscales and 34 items evaluating the evangelists, delusions, strange behavior and formal thought disorder. Each item has a score of 0 to 5, with a total score of 0–170. The scale was developed by Andreasen [11] and the adaptation of the Turkish form was made by Erkoç et al. (Erkoç et al., 1991, Düşünen Adam, not indexed in SCIE).
