A growth curve was built to assess growth time of both strains of Streptomyces isolates and relate it with the production period of the silver nanoparticles. The isolates were grown in submerged culture for 10 days. The growth medium in one flask was filtered through a Whatman no. 1 filter paper, every 24 h within 10 days of growth period. Dry weight of cell mass was set up on the contrast between the final weight of the filter paper, after filtration and drying and the initial weight [31].
