The transwell inserts (8 μm pore size, 24‐well plate, Corning Costar, Cambridge, MA) were used to evaluate cell migration ability. The cells (5 × 104/well) were seeded in the boyden insert and solvent or sirtinol were added in the well; the cells were allowed to migrate across the membrane for 24 hours. At the end of the experiment, migrated cells were stained with Coomassie Brilliant Blue solution for 10 minutes and counted under an inverted microscope (Olympus CKX53).
