SW480 cells were resuspended in L15 + 10% FBS and seeded on 96-well plates coated with 5μg/ml fibronectin (FN). The plates were kept at 37°C under 5% CO2 for 45 minutes. Then cells were fixed with 50% glutaraldehyde for 30 minutes. Photographs were taken at 200× magnification using a phase contrast microscope (Nikon, Japan). Number of spread cells was counted.
