In this study, CBCT and CT images of 10 patients were used for the model performance evaluation. For the generated synthetic image quality evaluation, we used mean absolute error (MAE), peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR), normalized cross-correlation (NCC), and structural similarity (SSIM) as evaluation indices (18).

I 1 and I 2 represent two different images. I (x, y, z) means the HU value of pixels (x, y, z) in image I. ninjnk is the total number of pixels in image I. MAX is the maximum HU value in the selected image. µ and σ represent the mean and the standard deviation of the HU value in an image. Online fan beam CT was the ground truth image for comparison. sCT and CBCT images were compared with fan beam CT.
