The authors performed a systematic search in the Medline (PubMed), Embase (EMBASE.com), Scopus, Web of Science (WoS), and PsycINFO databases. A tailored search strategy was developed for each database according to their thesaurus characteristics. The search method for the identification of studies is reported in Supplemental Materials (Table S1). Results obtained from each database were exported in a web-based bibliographic management software (RefWorks; https://www.refworks.com/it/, accessed on May–December 2017) and duplicate deletion was done by two independent raters, which were then matched. Moreover, all records were imported in a tailored Excel spreadsheet including title, abstract, and record information for each article.
