Intraperitoneal administrations of 50 μg of EdU (A10044, Thermo Fisher Scientific) per gram body weight were performed for pregnant females or neonatal pups, followed by harvesting of tissues after 2 hr. EdU incorporation was detected with the Click-iT Plus EdU Alexa Fluor 555 imaging kit (C10638, Themo Fisher Scientific) according to manufacturer’s instructions.
