Fractionation of the nuclear and cytoplasmic proteins from T47D cells ectopically overexpressing the empty vector, wtCCDC170, or the ΔCCDC170 fusion variants E2-E7 or E2-E10 was performed using the NE-PER Nuclear and Cytoplasmic Extraction Kit (Thermo Fisher) according to manufacturer’s instructions. The fractionated protein samples (30 μg protein) were then analyzed by western blot, as previously described [13].
