Cd11c–Myd88-TG/Myd88^−/−(Cd11c–Myd88-transgenic mice on Myd88^−/− background) (44) were kindly provided by Ruslan Medzhitov (Yale University, New Haven, CT) and were crossed with Apoe^−/−/Myd88^−/− double KO mice that we have previously generated (9) to generate Apoe^−/−/Cd11c–Myd88-TG mice.
