Nuclear protein extract was prepared from SCC131 cells, biotin-labeled probes corresponding to Snail binding sites were annealed, and electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA) was performed according to manufacturer protocol (Pierce Biotechnology, Rockford, IL).
