The cDNA sequence of FaCMB1 was cloned into the pET‐28a vector, fused with His tag at the C‐terminus. The recombinant plasmid was transformed into Escherichia coli strain BL21 (DE3). The transformed cells were induced with 0.5 mM IPTG and incubated at 16°C for 16 h. The recombinant protein was purified by Ni‐NTA affinity chromatography (Novagen, Madison, WI, USA) according to the manufacturer's manual. Recombinant FaCMB1 was used to immunize rabbits by the Laboratory Animal Center of Zhejiang University. The purified protein was mixed with Freund's adjuvant and injected into rabbits as an antigen for immunization. The antibody was purified by protein A after the collection of animal serum.
