For the biocompatibility evaluation of rANG, rANG6xHis or H13A_rANG, 5 × 103 cells were seeded in a 96-well plate and, after 24 h of growth, treated with increasing amounts of recombinant proteins, or SA, as mentioned above.
The cells’ viability was then assessed by the MTT method [46] and analyzed at 570 nm by means of a Multi-Mode Microplate Reader (Synergy™ H4).
