5. Statistical analysis

Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 20.0 software (SPSS, Chicago, IL, USA). Continuous variables were described using means and standard deviations, while categorical variables were described using proportions. Two groups of quantitative data were compared using the Wilcoxon rank-sum test for 2 independent sample comparisons. Categorical outcomes such as response rate, survival rate, and incidence of adverse effects were compared using the χ² test or Fisher’s exact test. The Kaplan-Meier method was used for survival analysis, and the log-rank test was used to compare survival rates. The difference was considered statistically significant if p<0.05.
