Six-weeks old male BALB/c nude mice were purchased from Experimental Animal Center of Second Military Medical University (Shanghai) and maintained under specific pathogen-free conditions. Investigator was blinded to the group allocation during the experiment. Aliquots of 5 ×106 cells were injected subcutaneously into each mouse for limiting dilution tumor formation. Tumor size was measured with calipers, and tumor volume was calculated according to the following formula: larger diameter × (smaller diameter)2/2.
