The GmPHYA3 sequence from Glycine max [3] was obtained in FASTA format from NCBI (National Centre for Biotechnology Information) GenBank database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genbank/). GmPHYA3 is 9.2kb longer, exon 1 was divided into three frames and primers for each frame were designed using web-based Primer BLAST (Basic Local Alignment Search Tool) from NCBI (Table ). These primers were utilized for amplification of PHYA3 in Lablab purpureus cv GNIB-21 which is determinate and photoperiod insensitive.
