Ultramarine blue pigments were purchased in powder form Kremer Pigmente GmbH & Co. KG (Germany) (Table (Table2).2). Pellets of each pigment were prepared using a hydraulic press after mixing the powder with KBr of spectroscopic grade in a 1:1 ratio.
