In some cases, the effect of nano formulations on platelet secretion should also be investigated [8]. The platelet secretion is determined by measuring the release of ATP using a luciferin/luciferase reagent. 2 min before stimulation, luciferin/luciferase is added to 480 µl of platelet suspension. Pre-incubate the platelets with the preparation and physiological saline for 2 min, and then add ADP with agitation (1000 rpm). Record the platelet secretion in a real-time agglutination instrument at 37 °C. Determine whether the platelet secretion is suppressed.
