2.5. Determination of PPSG absorption in vivo

Fluorescence imaging was applied to investigate the absorption of PPSG in vivo. The healthy male Balb/c mice were divided into 2 groups (n = 4), and were subcutaneously injected 0.1 ml free DIR solution and DIR-PPSG at DIR concentration of 4 ug/ml. Fluorescence intensity at different time points was obtained by using an IVIS® Spectrum system (PerkinElmer, USA).
