The mMESSAGE mMACHINE T7 Transcription Kit (Invitrogen, Carlsbad, CA, USA) was used for translation assays in vitro. Then, the targeted RNA was biotin-labeled with desthiobiotinylation using the Pierce RNA 3′ End Desthiobiotinylation Kit (Invitrogen, California, USA). Cells were collected and lysed by protein lysis buffer, and streptavidin magnetic beads were used to capture the biotin-labeled RNA probe. RNA pull-down assays were performed with the Pierce Magnetic RNA-Protein Pull-Down Kit (Invitrogen, California, USA) according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The pull-down extractions were eluted and subjected to western blotting analysis.
