The susceptible (S) strain was first collected in 2005. This strain had never been exposed to acaricides. Resistant strains were treated once a week with the LC30~LC50 of etoxazole or pyridaben. Information on the eight field populations and resistant strains is shown in Table 1. The mites were reared at 25–27 °C with a 16 L: 8 D photoperiod and 40~60% relative humidity. Kidney beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) were used as a host.
