HEK293T cells, human bladder cancer T24 cells with OTUB1 knockout and human bladder cancer EJ cells with OTUB1 overexpression were maintained in Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium (DMEM, HyClone, Logan, UT, USA) supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS; GE Healthcare Life Sciences, Logan, UT, USA) and 100 U penicillin/streptomycin (Gibco, Carlsbad, CA, USA) at 37°C in a 5% CO2 incubator. All cell lines were purchased from ATCC. The commonly used HEK293T and T24 cell lines were screened for mycoplasma contamination, but none was found.
