SDS-page gel electrophoresis analysis (12.5% running gel, 4% stacking gel stained with Coomassie brilliant blue R-250 Bio-Rad) was carried out for checking the yield of PsbS at every step of overexpression, purification, and refolding. For staining, 2.5 µL of Precision Plus Protein™ Dual Color Standard from Sigma was used.
