To analyze adult locomotor behavior, young adult worms were washed with M9 buffer before transferred to the unseeded NGM plate and allowed to recover for 5 min. Animal locomotion was recorded at a rate of 10 frames per second for 1 min. The mean body-bend amplitude and crawling locomotion velocity were analyzed by WormLab. All the assays were done at 25°C.
