The identification of functional group of ethanol was carried out by FTIR spectroscopy analysis in the Department of Chemistry, College of Natural and Computational Science, Addis Ababa University, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The samples were examined and the result was checked by comparing with standard ethanol graph by referring standard methodology [24].
