Tumor grade was determined from primary and lymph node specimens and/or liver biopsies according to the Ki-67 proliferation index. We used the 2015 and 2017 WHO classification systems, respectively, for grading lung and gastro-enteropancreatic NENs [16,17]. We applied the Charlson comorbidity index to assess patients’ comorbidities [18]. For staging, we used the 8th edition of the American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) [19]. Patients’ medications were monitored by dedicated specialists. To ensure the quality of data reporting, we followed the STROBE statement [20].
