Following 7 days of osteogenesis, the ALP activity of the cells was assessed using the ALP activity kit (Nanjing Jiancheng Bioengineering Institute) as per the producer's protocols. For ALP staining, the hPDLSCs were fixed in paraformaldehyde (4%), then stained with an ALP staining kit (Beyotime Institute of Biotechnology) at room temperature for 10 min after 7 days. Cells were observed and examined using an inverted microscope (Olympus Corp.).
