The human immortalized normal hepatic cell line (L02), HCC cell lines (Huh7, Hep3B, MHCC97-H, MHCC97-L, HepG2, HCCLM3), and HEK293T cells were obtained from the Cell Bank, Type Culture Collection, Chinese Academy of Sciences (Shanghai, China). All cells were cultured in Dulbecco’s modified Eagle medium (DMEM) (Gibco, Grand Island, NY, USA) containing 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS) (Gibco, Grand Island, NY, USA) and 1% penicillin-streptomycin (Sigma, St-Louis, MO, USA). All cell lines were cultured in a humidified incubator containing 5% CO2 at 37 °C. Hypoxia incubator (1% O2) was used to establish the hypoxic cell model.
