The patients who were included in this study underwent pulmonary resection at the Affiliated Suzhou Hospital of Nanjing Medical University between January 2018 and December 2019. A total of 50 distinct lung tumours that were removed from 21 patients with at least two lesions were selected for histopathologic examination. No patient had received treatment before surgery. Clinical demographic characteristics (age, sex, smoking history, tumour size, pathologic classification, histological subtypes, clinical stages, and lymphatic metastases) were obtained from electronic medical records (Table (Table11).
