For all the bar graphs, data were presented as means ± SD. GraphPad Prism software, version 7.00 for Windows (GraphPad Software, Inc., La Jolla, CA), was used for survival curves, charts, and statistical analysis. For the comparison of quantitative data between groups, the Student’s t-test was used, otherwise, independent sample rank sum test was used; survival was calculated using Kaplan-Meier’s method and compared using log-rank test; Spearman rank correlation test was used to calculate the correlation between two nonparametric values. Differences in means were considered statistically significant at P < .05. Significance levels are: *, P < .05; **, P < .01; ***, P < .001; ****, P < .0001; ns, not significant.
