The inclusion criteria will be as follows [33]:

Age of 10–18 years.

A diagnosis of idiopathic scoliosis.

Cobb angle of 10–25°.

Risser sign of 0–2.

Agree not to receive any other treatments for scoliosis such as brace and insoles during the study period.

The exclusion criteria will be as follows:

Contraindications for exercise, such as cardiovascular or respiratory insufficiency.

Contraindications for SMT, including inflammation, infection, advanced degeneration, congenital malformations, trauma, and cerebrovascular anomalies [34].

A history of spinal surgery.

A history of scoliosis treatment involving surgery, a brace, exercise, etc.

In addition to the simple unwillingness to continue, factors that can prevent a subject from continuing to participate, such as a new diagnosis of a severe disease, will be considered valid grounds for withdrawal.
