Statistical analyses were performed using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) software for Windows version 17.0.1 (SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL). Data are expressed as the average ± SD, and independent sample t-tests were performed to calculate significant differences among all sample groups. All p values are two-sided, and p values less than 0.05 are considered statistically significant. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis was performed using MedCalc (Statistical software) for Windows version (Ostend, Belgium). Risk assessment was evaluated by the posterior probability calculation based on Bayes’ theorem.
