H22 cells and 4T1 cells were purchased from Type Culture Collection of Chinese Academy of Sciences (Shanghai, China). The cells were cultured in RPMI 1640 medium containing 10% FBS, 100 U/mL penicillin and 100 μg/mL streptomycin in a 5% CO2 incubator at 37 °C. BALB/c mice (male and femal, 6 weeks, 20-22 g) were provided by Beijing Vital River Laboratory Animal Technology Co., Ltd. (Beijing, China). H22 tumor-bearing mice were constructed by subcutaneous injection of 2×106 H22 cells into the back of male BALB/c mice. 4T1 tumor-bearing mice were constructed by subcutaneous injection of 1×106 4T1 cells into the back of female BALB/c mice. All animal experiments were approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee at Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Wuhan, China).
