Lung tissues from patients with non–small cell lung cancer (n = 6), COVID-19 (n = 2), SSc-ILD (n = 3), and IPF (n = 8) were collected in the Tongji Hospital with informed consent. COVID-19 was diagnosed by nucleic acid test (43), SSc-ILD was classified according to the American College of Rheumatology (ACR)/European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) criteria (44), and the IPF diagnosis was made according to the American Thoracic Society (ATS)/European Respiratory Society (ERS) consensus diagnostic criteria (45). The studies were approved by the Human Assurance Committee of the Tongji Hospital. Clinical data and pulmonary function tests were provided in table S1.
