Chest computed tomographic (CT) scans, treatment measures (i.e., antiviral therapy, corticosteroid therapy, respiratory support, and kidney replacement therapy), and outcomes were also collected. The throat swab was tested to exclude evidence of other viral infections, including influenza, respiratory syncytial virus, avian influenza, parainfluenza, and adenovirus.
