Cell proliferation was detected using CCK-8 assays 19. Briefly, the cells were seeded into 96-well plates (100 µl/well; 2,500 cells/well) and were cultured at 37 °C in an environment with 5% CO2. At 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 72 and 84 h, 10 µl of CCK-8 solution (cat. no. CK04; Dojindo Molecular Technologies, Inc., Kumamoto, Japan) was added to each well, followed by incubation for 3 h, and the solution color was monitored. When the difference in the color was significant between groups, absorbance was measured at 450 nm.
