The following antibodies were raised in sheep and affinity-purified on the appropriate antigen by the Division of Signal Transduction Therapy Unit at the University of Dundee: KCC2A phospho-Thr906 [SAYTYER(T)LMMEQRSRR (residues 975 to 989 of human KCC3A) corresponding to SAYTYEK(T)LVMEQRSQI (residues 899 to 915 of human KCC2A)] (catalog no. S959C), KCC2A phospho-Thr1007 [CYQEKVHM(T)WTKDKYM (residues 1032 to 1046 of human KCC3A) corresponding to TDPEKVHL(T)WTKDKSVA (residues 998 to 1014 of human KCC2A)] (catalog no. S961C), and KCC2 phospho-Ser940 (catalog no. NBP2-29513). Pan-KCC2 total antibody (residues 932 to 1043 of human KCC2) was purchased from NeuroMab (catalog no. 73-013). Anti–β-tubulin III (neuronal) antibody was purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (catalog no. T8578). Secondary antibodies coupled to horseradish peroxidase used for immunoblotting were obtained from Pierce. Immunoglobulin G used in control immunoprecipitation experiments was affinity-purified from preimmune serum using protein G–Sepharose.
