Antibodies for flow cytometry analysis were diluted 1:100 in fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) buffer (2.5% FCS and 0.1% NaN3) and added to 100 μl of mouse whole blood for 30 min. Cells were fixed with 3 ml of 1-step Fix/Lyse solution (00-5333-54, Thermo Fisher Scientific) for 60 min at room temperature. The cells were then washed in FACS buffer, collected in a final volume of 200 μl, and analyzed with the MACSQuant analyzer. All antibodies were purchased from BD Biosciences: V500 anti-CD45 (561487), fluorescein isothiocyanate anti-CD3 (561798), allophycocyanin (APC) anti-CD8a (561093), PECy7 anti-CD4 (552775), phycoerythrin (PE) anti-CD115 (565249), and PerCP-Cy5.5 anti-Ly6G/C (561103).
