Student’s unpaired t test was used to compare the natural log–transformed data between groups in the murine and human studies. One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) with post hoc Tukey’s was used to compare groups in the in vitro studies. P values less than or equal to 0.05 were considered significant. Analyses and graphs were generated using GraphPad Prism version 6.00 (GraphPad Software, La Jolla, CA, USA). Error bars in figures represent group means ± SD.
