The LGP2-C615A and LCTD-C615A mutants were generated by directional mutagenesis using the plasmids pDONR207-LGP2 or pDONR207-LCTD. The forward primer (5′- TGTCATCAGCTGCAGGAACGCGGGGGAGGTCTGGGG-3′) and reverse primer (5′-CCCCAGACCTCCCCCGCGTTCCTGCAGCTGATGACA-3′) were used in accordance with the QuikChange Lightning Multi Site-Directed Mutagenesis Kit protocol (#210518-5 StrataGene). The LGP2-C615A mutant was recombined from pDONR207 to One-STrEP–tag pEXPR-IBA105GW by in vitro recombination (LR reaction).
