The RNA oligos synthesized from Takara Bio Inc. and Sangon Biotech were as follows: RNA-m6ACA (5′-UUGGUUUUUUUUGG(m6A)CAUGUAUAUAGU-3′), RNA-ACA (5′-UUGGUUUUUUUUGGACAUGUAUAUAGU-3′), RB1-Um6AC (5′-GUUGUGUGAUAU(m6A)CAUAUGGUGGUG-3′), and RB1-UAC (5′ GUUGUGUGAUAUACAUAUGGUGGUG-3′).

HEK293T cell line was cultured with Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium (DMEM; Corning) supplemented with 10% (v/v) fetal bovine serum (FBS; Gibco) at 37°C in the presence of 5% CO2 and tested to be mycoplasma negative. Total RNA from HEK293T cells was extracted using TRIzol reagent (Thermo Fisher Scientific), and the mRNA was purified using the Dynabeads mRNA Purification Kit (Thermo Fisher Scientific, catalog no. 61006). The mRNA of human tissues (brain, liver, and kidney), mouse tissues (brain, liver, heart, testis, and kidney), and rat tissues (brain, liver, and kidney) were purchased from Takara Bio Inc.
