Cells were examined with an inverted Nikon Eclipse Ti microscope (Nikon, Tokyo, Japan) using a 40× air objective. Cell migration phenotype was tabulated manually. Blebbing cells were defined as those displaying membrane blebs, which were identified as discrete, spherical-like bulges localized at the cell poles. Mesenchymal cells were defined as those exhibiting finger-like protrusions.
