PhAMfloxed mice [B6;129S-Gt(ROSA)26Sortm1(CAG-COX8A/Dendra2)Dcc/J] were purchased from the Jackson Laboratory. The 9.6-kb Dmp1Cre transgenic mice were provided by J. Q. (Jerry) Feng at Texas A&M College of Dentistry, USA. All animals were housed and maintained in accordance with the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee guidelines.
