The analytical model was solved in MATLAB, which was also used to plot the computed fields. Full-wave 3D simulations were performed with the Lumerical FDTD 3D wave solver. Field enhancement was calculated using a plane wave and by dividing the electric field amplitude on the antenna (and in the gap) by the electric field of the plane wave.
