OphAΔC6-2h was buffer-exchanged into 25 mM tris (pH 8.0) in H218O several times to the desired concentration (H218O content was estimated to be 95%). Reactions were performed with SAM (at 4 mg/ml and 5 mM) for 24 hours at room temperature before freezing. The resulting products were examined by ESI-TOF MS. The results were identical to those in normal H2O.
