Bacterial strains used in this work: CF1648—MG1655 wild type [64]; CF9240—MG1655 dksA::Tn10 [23]. Cultures were routinely grown at 37 °C in lysogeny broth (LB) supplemented with antibiotics as needed (tetracycline 15 µg/mL). Phage P1vir from the collection of the Department of Bacterial Molecular Genetics, University of Gdańsk, Poland.
